Bosun

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bosun to join our team in the Shipping - General Cargo department at Wagenborg Crew Management B.V. As a Bosun, you will be an integral part of our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of our vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of deck equipment to uphold operational efficiency

• Assist in cargo handling operations

• Supervise and lead the deck crew during mooring and anchoring operations, ensuring smooth execution

• Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and regulations to maintain a secure working environment

• Contribute to the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the vessel for optimal functionality

• Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures

• Work closely with the deck officers and other crew members to ensure smooth operations

• Valid applicable Certificate of Competence (Rating Deck STCW II/4 and II/5)

• Valid STCW Training Certificates

• Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor

• Good English communication skills

• Ability to work well in an International team environment

• Preferred Experience with General Cargo

• Proficiency in safety procedures and emergency response

• Flexibility to work in challenging environments and varying schedules
