Job description
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our Fleet department at Wagenborg Crew Management B.V. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and equipment on our vessels to ensure smooth operations at sea.
Key responsibilities
Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical issues on board
Performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns
Collaborating with the engineering- and deck team to optimize vessel performance
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

Job requirements
Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
Technical knowledge of mechanical systems and components
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Physical stamina and strength to handle manual tasks
Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures
