Chief Cook

We are seeking a talented Chief Cook to join our team in the Fleet department. As the Chief Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our crew members on board our vessels. Your culinary skills and creativity will play a key role in maintaining high morale and satisfaction among our crew.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences

• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of food supplies

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the galley

• Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences

• Valid applicable Certificate of Competence (Ships’ Cook + Rating Deck STCW II/4 or/and II/5)

• Valid STCW Training Certificates including Basic Safety and Security Awareness

• Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate

• Physical fitness and ability to perform duties in a demanding maritime environment.

• Good English communication skills

• Proficiency in preparing and serving high-quality meals for the crew

• Knowledge of safety and hygiene regulations in the galley and food handling procedures.

• Ability to manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness in the galley.

• Capability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing situations at sea.

• Ability to work well in an International team environment
