Are you ready to launch your maritime career? Join the Class of 2027 and start your journey at sea with Royal Wagenborg.

Through this vacancy, you can enroll in your Second Maritime Apprenticeship programme starting in Q1 2027, with an intended joining date in January 2027.

Our Maritime Apprenticeship offers a hands-on learning experience within a leading international maritime company. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced crew members and maritime professionals, gaining practical knowledge of vessel operations, technical maintenance, safety procedures, and navigation practices. From day one, you will be actively involved in daily operations and real-world projects that contribute to the performance and reliability of our fleet.

This program is designed for motivated individuals with a strong interest in the maritime industry. If you are eager to learn, thrive in a team environment, and are ready to take on responsibility in a dynamic and challenging setting, we would love to hear from you.

Job requirements

We have the following expectations of our apprentices at sea:

  • Must be enrolled in a maritime studies program or equivalent in The Netherlands

  • Strong interest in the maritime industry and willingness to learn

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team

  • Basic knowledge of maritime regulations and safety procedures

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and follow instructions
